Agatha Christie: Evil Under the Sun (Retail $29.99) is the next installment in The Adventure Company's Agatha Christie mystery series. This time, relive one of Hercule Poirot's adventures, as he recounts it to his friend and colleague, Arthur Hastings. The brilliant Poirot solved a murder case in just one day, while vacationing on the lovely Seadrift Island, and has challenged his friend to travel back though his steps and see if he can solve it in the same amount of time.
You begin the game playing as Hastings, but soon go into Poirot's recollection of the murder, and play out the investigation as Poirot in the past. According to the plot, you are still playing as Hasting, narrating to Poirot the actions he wishes to take, so throughout the game play, there is a humorous inner dialogue between Poirot and Hastings, as they bicker on points of the case.

Beautifully rendered, like all The Adventure Company games, Evil Under the Sun is a pleasure to play. The navigation, inventory, and conversation panels are easy to use, while the mystery of the game remains just complex enough to be challenging, yet not frustrating. The other characters that Poirot meets while on the island are diverse and interesting, with intriguing back-stories and inter-relationships. You must unravel their interlocking plots to reason who has motive, and who is just an innocent vacationer.

Can you be as great of a detective as the famous Hercule Poirot? Mr. Hastings seems to think so. Take up Poirot's challenge along with Hastings, and prove that Poirot is not the only one who can master the use of his "little gray cells." Agatha Christie: Evil Under the Sun will not disappoint. It will provide you with hours of crime solving fun, and test your logic and deductive reasoning skills. Get it for yourself, or wrap one up for someone special for the holidays.
