Atlantis: Evolutions
Review by: Angie Kibiloski

In Atlantis: Evolutions (Retail $29.99), you are Curtis, a traveler and journalist who has been caught in a raging storm at sea. You bravely fight the relentless weather, but a whirlpool sucks you and your little row boat into the waves. Is this the end to your life, a watery grave? Nope, but when you awake it seems that you have been sucked into another world, the New Atlantis.

You must explore this strange and dangerous world, scavenging for supplies and hiding from the evil forces trying to imprison you. Everyone on this New Atlantis seems to be either brainwashed into servitude, or heavily armed and more than happy to shoot you. Both varieties seem convinced that their world is governed by vindictive gods who have mastered advanced technology to keep them all in their places.

The environments are beautiful, and you'll find yourself stopping to look at the scenery, even when you are running for your life. The characters you will meet, both harmless and hostile, are interesting and add much to the experience of the story. The plot is intriguing and very well developed. Also, the game is a very good length, with new challenges developing all along the way. I had a lot of fun playing Atlantis: Evolution, and if you like adventure gaming, then you will absolutely love it too.

Atlantis: Evolution, from The Adventure Company will keep you entertained for days. Can you discover the source of power of this world and its gods and defeat it? Can you find a way back to your home? Can you even find one friendly face to help you out? Come and explore New Atlantis and find out.
