In this game, you are a kind hearted fairy whose job it is to fly around the land of Feyruna and save the little Glowies, which look like large fireflies, from all the evil creatures of the forest. With the help of magic spells and agile flying skills, you battle the hordes of goblins, witches, bumblebees, and other creatures to free the realm of their evil. Feyruna is a beautiful, peaceful looking land, but don't let the serenity of the landscape lull you into a sense of security, because behind the colorful plants and sunny pleasantness lurk dark, dangerous creatures, out to gobble up your little Glowie friends.
In each level of the game, you are faced with an increasing number of enemies. The first few levels are relatively easy, invaded only by some bat like creatures that you must evade. But soon you are faced with all manner of foes to dodge and eliminate, before they can eat more of your Glowies than you can rescue. If you reach your quota of Glowies before the bad guys reach their quota of evil, which is also filled as they touch or attack your fairy, then you progress to the next level. If they win the level, unfortunately, you must try again. The spells at your disposal are very helpful, and include a defensive fire ring that circles you and keeps enemies away, a fireball that you can shoot at your enemies, and a spell to attract the Glowies to you so that it is easier to capture them.
There are bonus rounds scattered at regular intervals, which are easier than the regular levels, and require you to save a number of Glowies before time runs out. At the end of these rounds, you get a nice tidy sum of bonus points. Other bonuses that are granted throughout the game come in the form of items that you can use, such as a fire ring at the beginning of each level, so that you never begin a round unprotected, or additional hour glasses, which allow you to rewind time if you ever lose a level, and play it over again.
Feyruna-Fairy Forest is a game that all ages can play and enjoy, because it is non-violent, really cute, and not too terribly hard. It is a game that can be played for hours, without getting bored, or one level at a time, days apart, without losing the plot. The game automatically saves your progress after each level as well, which is incredibly handy. You can also go back and play levels again that you have completed. With 60 levels, Feyruna-Fairy Forest will keep you entertained for quite a while. Feyruna-Fairy Forest delivers maximum fun with its simple concept of good versus evil.
