Captioned Movies For The Hard Of Hearing

Online movie distributor MovieFlix has sealed an agreement with the non-profit Captioned Media Program (CMP) that will make a selection of streaming movies accessible to the deaf and hard of hearing. Claiming to be the first to bring open-captioned movies to the Web, the CMP and MovieFlix will initially offer over 15 titles including full-length feature films like McLintock and classic television programs like The Jerry Lewis Show. Subtitles appear on the movies without the need for a special decoder or software. CMP is funded by the U.S. Department of Education. World Wide Web: http://www.MovieFlix.com .
