Welcome to the fun and collectible side of computer accessories!  Road Micefrom Four Door Media, is a line of wireless or wired mice in the shape of gorgeous sports cars.  There are a wide selection of models to choose from, like the Ford MustangChevy Camaro, and Dodge Viper.  Each model is beautifully detailed, with working headlights, factory paint, and real rubber tires.  They also have the latest in top of the line optical technology, having recently joined with HP to incorporate their proven expertise.  Get your favorite style, or give your model car collection a boost by adding a whole new fleet of attractive and functional scale vehicles.  To their already impressive line up of stylish cars, Road Mice will soon be available with NASCAR branding.  The wireless varieties are either $39.95 or $49.95, or if you love to be tied to your desk, there are a few wired models for $34.95.

If having a car shaped mouse wasn’t cool enough for any motoring enthusiast, you can rev up the fun even more with some official paper work.  Each of the Road Mice comes with its own unique and actual VIN number, allowing you to go on their website and register your vehicle, get the title, and activate the warranty.  Having a real title and registration for your mouse is pretty darn cool, and could even increase its collectible value!  The warranty provides comprehensive “bumper to bumper” coverage and a replacement plan which protects against all types of damage, like water, theft, and mechanical problems, and is good for a one-time replacement, not including shipping.

All of these mice run on a 2.4 GHz frequency, have 2 main buttons with a clickable scroll wheel, and can be switched between 750, 1250, and 1750 dpi resolution.  They have working headlights, some of which light up when the mouse is in motion, an automatic sleep timer to help extend the battery life, and a low battery indicator light.  When you buy one of the newer models with the on-board HP technology, you’ll receive a code to go to the HP game site and download the racing game, Final Drive: Nitro, a $19.99 value, for free.  I will suggest that these mice might not be the best fit for someone with smaller hands, as the buttons on the hood of the cars might be a bit of a stretch with shorter fingers.  With that one exception though, one of these Road Mice would be a super cool accessory for any computer user or car lover to own, and certainly would be a conversation starter.  You can drive one of these beauties home at several major retailers, or on the official Road Mice website athttp://www.roadmice.com.
